When local mobile carrier VHA invited us last week to visit them at a special launch for the “Android man”, we didn’t quite know what the company was talking about. It turns out the Android man is just that — a massive Android mascot which has been travelling around Sydney with a giant Vodafone badge.
He’s a cute little chap and has been photographed with a stack of people around Sydney now, including storm troopers and more — fan photos can be found at Vodafone’s Facebook page.
Apparently if you took a photo of the Android man and posted it on Vodafone’s Facebook page before yesterday (Sunday), you’ll go into the running to win an Android handset and a pass to “Vodafone’s exclusive Android Island Party” on the 5th of November — this Thursday.
Crazy!
