Telstra and Vodafone have this afternoon revealed pricing for HTC’s 3D EVO device, that will soon become available in Australia.

The EVO 3D features a 4.3″ touch display that is capable of displaying 3D content without glasses, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, two 5MP cameras both of which have auto-focus and allow for full 3D image and 720p video capturing, and 1GB of internal storage.

It also runs the latest version of Google’s open source system for smartphones, Android Gingerbread.

Last month HTC confirmed it’d begin offering the EVO — its first 3D-capable device in Australia — from September through Vodafone and Telstra, however it left out details of pricing and availability until now.

Telstra was first off the block, revealing today it’ll sell the EVO 3D outright from next Tuesday onwards for $912 including GST. It’s also announced the device will be available on all of its Freedom Connect plans with a $23 handset repayment bolted on top each month (using the company’s MRO bonus) over 24 months.

Vodafone meanwhile will offer the EVO for $5 per month on its $65 Infinite Plan over 24 months when it begins selling the device this Wednesday, 14th September.

Vodafone said today that it has now received stock of the EVO in its warehouse, revealing it’s also bundling a JMB Car Charger with the EVO as well as giving the first 3,500 customers a free movie, the Green Hornet 3D.

In a bid to raise awareness about the device — that according to Vodafone has attracted “a lot” of interest from customers — HTC will tour the EVO in a number of Westfield shopping centres across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

From today, stands promoting the EVO have been setup in Westfield Doncaster, Victoria and Westfield Sydney, New South Wales with more to come in Bondi Junction, New South Wales from the 19th September and another in Chermside, Queensland from the 23rd September.
