Oh dear: Turnbull’s web site wilts on first day

2

There’s a long history of politicians and governments having problems keeping their web sites up. Stephen Conroy himself had a little spot of bother with the National Broadband Network Implementation Study back in May when the lengthy document was finally published online.

And who can blame them? After all, it’s not their job to look after these kind of things. They have press secretaries, IT departments — how can big important people be required to take care of all of the little details?

But we have to say, it’s not really a good look when your website wilts minutes after you’re appointed Shadow Communications Minister — is it, Mr Turnbull?

Oh dear. Well, at least we know Turnbull runs Linux — well, probably!

  1. Looks like it’s hosted overseas: it has a 194.xx.xx.xx IP address, NTT America BSD.

Is he trying to protect himself from the internet filter?
