The official launch was in Brisbane, but last night many keen video game fans rocked up at EBGames’ George St store in Sydney at midnight to pick up a copy of Blizzard Entertainment’s latest flagship game StarCraft II.
First the retailer’s staff held a trivia quiz, complete with some tricky questions. Just what was the name of the StarCraft game that was never published? And what are the three abilities of the Zerg Queen in StarCraft II?
But then after another half hour of patience the decade-long wait for StarCraft II was over and the first copies were sold in Sydney.
