The opposition is doing the government a favour by blocking the legislation that will allow Telstra to be broken up.

  1. Saw this article earlier. What a stunning display of ignorance on the issue, but I’ve come to expect as much from Davidson.

    • I haven’t read much of Davidson’s stuff, but I have to admit, I don’t think he really understands the issue.

      Sure, we can get by on the current copper infrastructure … but the NBN Co has already begun laying the fibre. Let’s just let them do it and see where it gets us, is my view. After all, almost everyone I have spoken to does want fibre — they just disagree on the political and economic particulars of getting it ;)
