Smaller Geographically based NBN ISP's...
So the big picture is that if you want to be a national ISP you need to sign up to the 121 points of interconnect, which has associated costs etc and so forth...
Does this mean that a community group could not get together and "Co-Op" an ISP for their area of the state? Something like the Bendigo Community Telcos or the like?
Do the economies of scale relating to transit and international quota become uneconomical if your not doing national level traffic?
My question in the whole POI debate is 121 points make it easier for smaller players to target a given region, something which we have seen work for providers like Bendigo Neighbourhood Cable and other ISP's going back a few years...
Am I missing something stupidly obvious ?
