Evi is a good idea, however most of the complaints on the app store are to do with unavailable servers. It seems Evi has become a victim of its own success.
It is a novelty being plugged by a national newspaper as a Siri replacement where Apple is Goliath and Evi is portrayed as David. Siri is free from Apple, Evi is 69p from True Knowledge.
Apple may pull this app for the simple reason that it takes people’s money and then offers them no service because their own servers can’t cope with the demand.
Maybe someone will release an Evi clone that allows you to choose your own servers, that way everyone can benefit from a speedy service.
