Agree with you there Renai on the Symantec remark, I’ve become quite accustomed the hte Norton 2009/2010 suites and find them to be excellent. I haven’t used their enterprise suites, but if they are of similar quality, they’d be pretty good.

I use McAfee on my PC, its a corp version and so is very cut down and not bloat has always worked well for me

True — but one exception to this is Symantec. Their recent security suites (as hard as this is to believe) have been very light and completely re-worked. I haven’t tried McAfee recently, but I haven’t heard that they have gone through the same process.

I’d forgotten McAfee existed until this news. It seems that the bigger an AV company gets the more bloated and bug ridden their software gets.
