It is a tad expensive when compared to other providers, but having dedicated VoIP bandwidth (unaffected by the throttling), and unlimited* calls to mobiles is a big plus.

Tho I still prefer an all-in-one VoIP router rather than a separate ATA - mainly for QoS purposes but also you occasionally strike non-compatibility.

I use Skype at work and the iiVoIP at home. I find the iiNet service relatively unreliable, but Skype perfect -- apart from the apparently high prices when you call mobiles. I tried out engin a few years ago -- it was OK but not crash hot.

Never was a fan of engin. They used to lock their hardware so you couldn't change providers. I've been using pennytel for years, uber cheap and reliable. I don't think this engin offer is very good considering you get free voip on iinet naked. I don't use the free iinet service since they don't allow external registrations or peering, pennytel+voxalot for me.
